The Academy

Trained for real careers

Ten practices that turn a syllabus into a skill set — taught by a consultant who does the same work every day.

Trained for real careers

Taught from live client files

What we teach

Eight disciplines, one working method.

They are taught as they are used — together. A GST question is rarely only a GST question once a real client file is open.

Teaching philosophy

Ten practices. None of them extra.

The practices that turn a syllabus into a skill set. Every program runs all ten, and none of them are optional.

Students working through a practical accounting session
10 practices, every program

You work through files drawn from real assignments, not tidied textbook examples. The messiness is the point — client records rarely arrive complete.

Documentation is handed over the way a client actually hands it over, and you decide what is missing before you can proceed.

Tally Prime, the GST portal and filing utilities are used hands-on in every relevant session, not demonstrated on a projector.

Every concept is anchored to how a firm applies it — which entry, which form, which deadline.

Sessions track the current provisions, rates and due dates, because the practice next door is filing under them this week.

Dedicated time to clear blockers before the syllabus moves on. Nobody is carried forward with a gap they know about.

Practise the questions accounting employers actually ask, including the practical ones asked at the desk rather than in the room.

Your practical work is presented so it reads as experience — because that is what it is.

Guidance on openings, applications and follow-through, from someone who knows the firms hiring.

A professional certificate on completion of each program, issued against work you have finished rather than hours you attended.

The learning experience

Don’t just learn it. Do it.

A concept explained is a concept forgotten. Here, every topic ends with you doing the work that the topic exists for.

  1. Live client files

You work from real documentation — vouchers, invoices and bank statements — not sanitised textbook data.

  2. Software on the desk

Tally Prime, the GST portal and filing utilities, used until the sequence of clicks stops being something you think about.

  3. Mentored throughout

Every assignment is reviewed and corrected in person. Mistakes are the lesson, not the failure.

The two cycles

Every entry has a destination.

A student leaves able to run both of these alone. Until that is true, the program is not finished.

Cycle A

The accounting cycle

  1. 01

    Journal

Every transaction recorded with the correct debit and credit.

  2. 02

    Ledger

Entries posted and balanced account by account.

  3. 03

    Trial Balance

Totals agreed, and errors traced when they do not.

  4. 04

    Final Accounts

Adjustments, provisions, depreciation and closing entries.

  5. 05

    Balance Sheet

The position, stated so it can be defended.

  6. 06

    Profit & Loss

The performance, read the way a manager reads it.

Cycle B

The GST compliance cycle

  1. 01

    Registration

Eligibility, documentation and the application flow.

  2. 02

    Returns

GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B prepared, checked and filed.

  3. 03

    Input Credit

Eligibility tested, blocked credit identified, reversals made.

  4. 04

    Payments

Liability computed, offset applied, challan generated.

  5. 05

    Reconciliation

GSTR-2B matched against the books, line by line.

  6. 06

    Assessment

Notices read properly and responded to on time.

The student journey

From first enquiry to first pay slip.

8 stages across four phases. Nobody moves to the next one on time served.

  1. 01

    Discover

    Enquiry & counselling

We ask what you already know and where you want to work, then recommend the program that closes the gap — including "none of them yet" when that is the honest answer.

  2. 02

    Learn

    Foundation sessions

Concepts built in the order the work needs them, so nothing is memorised without a use.

  3. 03

    Learn

    Software lab

Tally Prime, the GST portal and filing utilities, on your own keyboard, until the sequence is automatic.

  4. 04

    Practice

    Live assignments

Anonymised client files handed over as they arrive. You decide what is missing before you can proceed.

  5. 05

    Practice

    Review & correction

Every submission is marked in person. The mistakes are where the learning is, so they are worked through rather than annotated.

  6. 06

    Grow

    Certification

Issued against completed practical work, not attendance.

  7. 07

    Grow

    Interview preparation

Resume positioning, mock rounds and the practical questions asked at the desk.

  8. 08

    Grow

    Placement support

Guidance on openings and applications, and follow-through until you are working.

Programs

Four certifications. One career path.

Each program ends with work you can show an employer — a filed return, a finalised set of books, a reconciled credit ledger.
